XPONENTIAL - U.S. Army, Navy Leaders to Speak at AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2016
Gen. David G. Perkins, commander of Training and Doctrine Command, and Frank Kelley, deputy assistant secretary of the Navy for Unmanned Systems, to address largest trade show for unmanned systems industry
ARLINGTON, Va., April 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Senior officials from the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy will deliver keynote presentations at AUVSI's XPONENTIAL 2016, the largest trade show for the unmanned systems and robotics industry. Gen. David G. Perkins, commander, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), will speak on Tuesday, May 3. Frank Kelley, deputy assistant secretary of the Navy for Unmanned Systems, will speak on Thursday, May 5.
Gen. Perkins assumed duties as commander of TRADOC on March 14, 2014, after serving as commander of the United States Army Combined Arms Center (USACAC) in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Perkins was the 21st commander of USACAC from November 2011 to February 2014, where he headed efforts to synchronize leader development across the Army, the management of the Army's training support and development enterprises, and the development and integration of the U.S. Army's war doctrine.
As deputy assistant secretary of the Navy for Unmanned Systems, Kelley serves as principal advisor to the assistant secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition on all matters relating to unmanned systems. Kelly retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as brigadier general in 2014. He served as commander of the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) from 2010 to 2014. He previously was the MCSC's program manager for Training Systems in Orlando. Kelley also taught at the Command and Staff College and served as an action officer to the deputy assistant secretary of the Navy for Expeditionary Forces Program.

Morial Convention Center in New Orleans from May 2 to 5 and offer over 200 educational sessions, providing information about the future of unmanned systems policy, regulations and technology. More than 8,000 industry leaders and professionals from around the world are expected to attend, and the XPONENTIAL exhibit hall will showcase over 600 cutting-edge companies, representing more than 20 industries.
