Colorado Springs, Colorado July 07, 2015
Fagor Automation, an international strategic partner of Diversified Machine Systems (DMS), a designer and manufacturer of 3 & 5 Axis CNC Routers and Large Format Machining Centers, announces new upgrades to the Fagor 8055 control system.
Now, DMS customers with existing Fagor 8055 Plus Systems can improve their CNC performance and Turbo Charge their ROI by upgrading to the new Fagor 8055 Power CPU System. These upgrades improve overall performance and finish quality, while reducing required cycle time in most of the applications.
The new Fagor 8055 Power CPU System increases block processing speed and offers advanced block look-ahead functions that are far superior to those on the older system. One of the exceptional upgrade features is the Advanced Jerk Control Mode. This function creates a smooth and gradual acceleration, as opposed to sudden speed changes, which leads to machine stress and mechanical vibrations. With the latest in advanced tuning algorithms, customers can boost machining productivity considerably, resulting in faster cycle times and better part finish. The enhanced user interface incorporates a new ergonomic screen layout and color design that utilizes softer pastel colors, which helps visual fatigue and improves operator concentration.
"DMS, along with Fagor, are dedicated to providing high-quality solutions to our customers over the life of their CNC by continuing to improve on the overall value and experience of our products," says DMS Executive Vice President & CSO, Ed Hilligrass.
Fagor Automation is a worldwide Manufacturer of CNC Systems. Servo Motors & Drives, Feedback Systems, DRO Systems & Motion Control Systems and strategic partner with Diversified Machine Systems.

Schmalz Technology Development - The Right Gripper for Every Task
In order to interact with their environment and perform the tasks, lightweight robots, like all industrial robots, depend on tools - and in many cases these are vacuum grippers. These form the interface to the workpiece and are therefore a decisive part of the overall system. With their help, the robots can pick up, move, position, process, sort, stack and deposit a wide variety of goods and components. Vacuum gripping systems allow particularly gentle handling of workpieces, a compact and space-saving system design and gripping from above. Precisely because the object does not have to be gripped, the vacuum suction cupenables gapless positioning next to each other.
