Applied Robotics Appoints Serfilippi as President and Interim CEO

Glenville, New York — August 1, 2014 - Applied Robotics, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of robotic end-of-arm tooling and connectivity solutions, announced the appointment of Mr. John Serfilippi as President and Interim Chief Executive Officer upon the retirement of Michael F. Quinn, P.E. effective August 1st, 2014.

Quinn, who joined Applied Robotics, Inc. after 45 years of senior management and technical experience at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory supporting the US Naval Nuclear Program, has played a substantial leadership role in reshaping ARI for long term success.

Mr. Serfilippi has over thirty years of corporate experience, seven years with ARI, and until recently was the Director of Operations. Serfilippi brings a broad-based experience to the position which includes engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing management.
