UNEQ Executive's thoughts from the AUVSI 2012 Conference
UNEQ president Michael Kennedy attends the 2012 AUVSI conference.
Las Vegas, Nevada- August 6-9 2012- AUVSI held its 39th annual conference and exhibition for unmanned systems and robotics technologies at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada 6-9 August. Michael Kennedy, President and CEO of UNEQ consulting, LLC supported the event and moderated in several panels.
"I was also honored to moderate and participate in the Joint Ground Robotics Integration Team (JGRIT) information exchange panel where the members of JGRIT from the Army's centers of excellence and the other services provided information the industry has waited for and needed for a long time. The attendees asked great questions and I believe they all left with very useful information to help them understand the JGRIT and its purpose. It is important to note that future JGRIT meetings will be open to industry partners, which hasn't been available to them before now."
This annual trade show for Unmanned Systems is the largest of its kind with nearly 8000 attendees and more than 500 exhibitors. It gives many new systems a chance to be presented to the people in all aspects of robotics including business leaders and decision makers. The next AUVSI conference will be held in August 2013 in Washington, DC.
