Government of Canada Lends Financial Support to AV&R Vision & Robotics Inc.
The Government of Canada is providing financial assistance to AV&R Vision and Robotics in order to commercialise its 3-D automated visual inspection solution for machine parts in an international level.
The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm AV&R Vision & Robotics Inc. has been granted financial assistance from the Government of Canada for the international commercialization of its three-dimensional automated visual inspection solution for machined parts.
"The Government of Canada is taking measures to promote the competitiveness and growth of the Canadian economy, and this support to AV&R Vision & Robotics is a clear example of that. With this assistance, the enterprise will be able to take the necessary steps to bring its state-of-the-art product to export markets," says Minister Lebel.
AV&R Vision & Robotics specializes in complex automation projects. The company offers solutions in two leading-edge sectors of activity, namely the two-dimensional automated visual inspection of part surfaces and the robotic finishing and machining of parts, which allows for the automated performance of such operations as deburring, profiling and polishing. The firm's latest solution, the result of extensive research and development, combines robotics with three-dimensional visual inspection. This new process will be commercialized first on foreign markets to enterprises operating in the aerospace industry.
