Emergent Vision Technologies Introduces Five New 100GigE Cameras
All three GigE Vision camera models feature back-side illuminated sensors, color and monochrome options, and the same support for zero-copy imaging and GPUDirect as all other GigE cameras from Emergent.
PORT COQUITLAM, British Columbia — January 9, 2025 — Emergent Vision Technologies, a pioneer in high-speed GigE Vision cameras and zero-copy and zero-loss vision technologies, launches three new 100GigE area scan cameras and two new 100GigE line scan cameras, all of which target applications that demand the ultimate speed, precision, and reliability.
New to the award-winning Zenith series of 100GigE cameras are the HZ-12000-G (12.4MP Sony IMX926, up to 590fps), HZ-14000-G (14MP Gpixel GSPRINT5514BSI, up to 670fps), and the HZ-25000-G (24.47MP Sony IMX925, up to 394fps). All three GigE Vision camera models feature back-side illuminated sensors, color and monochrome options, and the same support for zero-copy imaging and GPUDirect as all other GigE cameras from Emergent.
"In addition to these sensors supporting 100GigE speeds, they are also back-side illuminated sensors, which deliver higher [85%] quantum efficiency for greater sensitivities when leveraging ultra-high frame rates where exposures must be shorter," says John Ilett, president and CTO at Emergent Vision Technologies. "For systems integrators and end users today, this series comprises the fastest machine vision cameras in the market with zero-copy image transfer and guaranteed zero dropped frames."
The Industry's Fastest Line Scan Cameras
Joining 9K 256 TDI and 16Kx16 100GigE line scan cameras in the Pinnacle series are the LZT-8KG5 and LZT-16KG5 cameras. The LZT-8KG5 is based on the 8K 256 TDI Gpixel GLT5008BSI back-side illuminated CMOS image sensor and can reach a line rate of 1000KHz. The LZT-16KG5 is based on the 16K 256 TDI Gpixel GLT5016BSI back-side illuminated CMOS image sensor and can reach a line rate of 500KHz.
Both models feature advanced time delay integration (TDI) sensors, which have multiple lines inside, each of which exposes multiple times. By using an encoder, the exposure or line rate can be perfectly synchronized to the movement of a conveyor or web for applications such as semiconductor inspection, flat panel display inspection, and web inspection. The sensors enable either higher speeds with the same lighting, or the same speed with lower lighting intensity requirements. In addition, both monochrome 100GigE line scan cameras also support GPUDirect and Emergent's renowned zero-copy image transfer technology.
"Even for the most demanding applications, these cameras guarantee zero frame drops, bringing your multi-camera or large-scale systems unprecedented levels of reliability, efficiency, speeds, and sensitivity," says Ilett.

TM Robotics - Shibaura Machine THE SCARA range
The THE range from Shibaura Machine is an extensive line up of SCARA robots. Available in four arm lengths THE400 (400mm), THE600 (600mm) and the most recent THE800 (800mm) and THE1000 (1000mm), this range is suitable for assembly, handling, inspection and pick and place processes in varied industrial applications. The THE1000 boasts a 20kg payload capacity and an impressive 0.44 second cycle time, providing high speeds for processes with large components. In fact, the range has been recognised for as the price-to-performance leader compared to other SCARA models in its price range due to its impressive speed versus payload capacity.
